Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup parmesan
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts
  • 2 tbsp infused olive oil
  • 2 tbsp regular olive oil
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or plant-based milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend basil, garlic, parmesan, walnuts, and both oils into a paste.
  2. Cook pasta and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  3. Stir pesto and cream into pasta over low heat. Add pasta water if needed.
